Forma cu -ing nu se foloseste cu vb : 

1. de simt : see, smell, hear, taste 

2. de gandire : think(a crede) , remember , understand, know , believe ,want 

3. de placere / neplacere : prefer, adore , loathe = hate , like, dislike, love 

Exceptie : Folosim prezent continuu cu un adverb de frecventa ( always/ never) cand ne referim la un obicei care ne deranjeaza : 

Hey , you are always taking my things! 

evil = raul intruchipat 

Adverbe de mod - raspund la "cum se face actiunea " 

1. adj + ly 

Ex : interesting ...interestingly ( intr-un mod interesant ) 

He speaks interestingly . 

He drives slowly .

2. Exceptii 

fast = rapid / intr-un mod rapid 

well = intr-un mod corespunzator / bine

early = devreme  (adj/ adv) 

late = tarziu (adj,adv)
